Abstract | This study aims to examine the differences in the perception of self-leadership of the students studying in the department of fine arts and in the0 other departments of the faculty of education. In the study, survey method was used as data collection method. The sample of the research consisted of 604 students. SPSS and AMOS software programs were employed to analyze data. Confirmatory factor analysis was performed for the validity of the scale, and Cronbach Alpha was computed to test the reliability. In the study, descriptive statistics were displayed, and independent sample t-test as well as one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to test the hypotheses of the study. According to the findings of the research, self-leadership differs by gender and department of the students. It is suggested that efforts should be made to start developing self-leadership skills of the students, in particular male students. (As Provided). |
