Abstract | To evaluate the strength of evidence for the effectiveness, feasibility, and appropriateness of the Alert Program®. Multiple databases were systematically searched for peer-reviewed, English-language articles that evaluated the Alert Program®. Six articles met the inclusion criteria. The strength of evidence ranged from weak to moderate using the Effective Public Health Practice Project Quality Assessment tool and strong to promising when using the U.S. Department of Education, Elementary and Secondary Education Act guidelines. Studies included in this review support the use of the Alert Program® in school settings and for improving children's' self-regulation abilities. (As Provided). |
