Abstract | The "IDRA Newsletter" serves as a vehicle for communication with educators, school board members, decision-makers, parents, and the general public concerning the educational needs of all children across the United States. The focus of this issue is "College Readiness and Access." Contents include: (1) Highlights of IDRA's 35th Annual Texas Public School Attrition Study -- Pre-COVID-19 Attrition Rate was down to 20% (Roy L. Johnson); (2) College Degrees Are Worth It -- People with Bachelor's Degrees Have Lower Poverty Rates (Bricio Vasquez); (3) How the IDRA EAC-"South" Helps School Districts Increase Access to Advanced Courses for Students of Color (Paula Johnson); and (4) Meaningful Strategies for Making STEM Accessible (Stephanie Garcia).
