Abstract | One of thirteen individualized courses included in a marketing curriculum, this course covers control of expenses, inventory control, analysis of financial statements, and government regulations pertaining to business. The course is comprised of three units: (1) Fundamentals of Finance, (2) Merchandise Finance and Control, and (3) Food and Beverage Control. Each unit begins with a Unit Learning Experience Guide that gives directions for unit completion. The remainder of each unit consists of Learning Activity Packages (LAP) that provide specific information for completion of a learning activity. Each LAP is comprised of the following parts: objective, evaluation procedure, resources, procedure, supplemental sheets, study guide, and a LAP test with answers. The course is preceded by a pretest which is designed to direct the student to units and performance activities. (LRA) |
