| Abstract | This research memo presents the 1979-80 update of the Composite Indicator of Changes (CIC), a statistical measure for gauging and comparing changes in average salaries and wages paid to public school employees. The CIC offers a measure for analyzing salary trends in an individual school system and within groups of school systems, and with other economic indicators, such as the Consumer Price Index. The paper includes a worksheet and explanatory materials regarding the source of local CIC data, its computation, and suggested uses. (Author/LD) |
