Abstract | First-year university students (n=200) evaluated their career counseling experiences during senior year in high school. Women generally reported experiences as more favorable than did men, although women showed lower levels of confidence regarding chosen careers. Student responses did not appear to reflect major problems in terms of gender bias among counselors, yet evaluations of counseling were largely negative. (Author/NB) |
