Abstract | This annotated bibliography is about studies of educational environment. Environment is defined as being those social, intellectual, and physical conditions and happenings that effect the growth and development of humans. The educational environment is a powerful determinent of human behavior, and the intention here is to report research studies and articles that will help teachers and parents better understand the importance of environment in the educational process. This is not a totally comprehensive list of works in educational environments but is a selected bibliography centering on 6 dimensions of environmental studies. The dimensions are: (1) College and University Educational Environment; (2) Secondary School Educational Environment; (3) Elementary School Educational Environment; (4) Home Environmental Factors; and (5) Socio-economic Environmental Factors.
