Topics of the 25 chapters include career opportunities; design; selection and coordination of floor plans, furnishings, and accessories; walls and ceilings; floors and floor coverings; furniture; fabrics; window treatments; bedding; safety and sanitation; tools and equipment; floral design; entrepreneurial opportunities; marketing; and customer relations. There are 11 references and an index. The student activity book contains paper-and-pencil activities that reinforce essential information presented in each chapter of the reference book. (YLB) |
