Abstract | Eight separate brochures, presented here in English versions, but also available in six additional languages (Cambodian, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese), are designed to provide parents, adolescents, and children with information about sexual assault, self-protection, and healthy interpersonal relationships. Each brochure offers specific suggestions for personal action and interpersonal communication techniques. The brochure topics include: respect in a dating or romantic relationship; self-protection and personal safety for children; reducing the risk of children in one's care; communicating with children and protecting them from sexual assault; helping a friend who is a victim; and creating and maintaining healthy personal relationships.
