Abstract | Hypothesizes that stimulus exposure with consistency and redundancy enhances favorability, while exposure with inconsistency and change lowers favorability. The overall frequency effect suggests that inconsistent and changing contiguous associates impair, not reverse, the exposure-favorability relationship. (MB) |
