Abstract | Historically, physical education has a stereotypical image as being neither very physical nor educational. NASPE [National Standards for Physical Education] Standard 2 indicates that students in physical education classes should be able to demonstrate understanding and movement concepts, principles, and tactics as they apply to physical activity. This article provides K-12 teachers with suggestions for introducing and teaching the practical application of the principle of "summation of forces." (As Provided). |
