Abstract | In a sample of New York 10th graders, 927 completed a Form 1--Home and School and 925 Form 2--Agriculture and Technical Preparation. Despite no significant sex differences in perceptions of agricultural and environmental education, girls were less likely to consider such careers. Some differences among ethnic groups suggested a need to help minority students understand agriculture and its value as a career choice. (SK) |
