Abstract | Launched in June 2002, the Education For All-Fast Track Initiative (FTI) is a performance-based program focusing on the implementation of sustainable policies in support of universal primary completion (UPC) and the required resource mobilization. During its twenty months of implementation, FTI has delivered on results, which give reason for optimism that it is indeed possible to accelerate progress on EFA as long as the right conditions remain in place. At its meeting in Dubai in September 2003, the Development Committee requested a report on FTI funding and lessons learned from implementation. This document responds to that request. (ERIC). |
