Abstract	The purpose of the present study was to examine the perspectives of Turkish mothers of their children with developmental disabilities. A descriptive study was conducted via collecting data using semi-structured interviews. 39 mothers of children with developmental disabilities who were enrolled in a university unit. The data analysis has shown that mothers of children with developmental disabilities face many difficulties and changes in their daily family lives after the birth of their child with developmental disabilities. The results were discussed with the reference to other related studies. (Contains 1 table.) (As Provided).
