Abstract	A study to investigate the differences in mother and child interactions of depressed children and adolescents, nondepressed high-risk youths, and healthy controls was conducted. Results revealed increased family discord with depressed children whereas intermediate levels of control and disengagement were seen in families with high-risk children. (ERIC).
