Abstract | An interpretive case study framed by the critical race theory (CRT) and African centered theory is used to examine the teaching practices of two transformative African American teachers, which transformed the thinking and lives of their students. The analysis has illustrated that the computer technology has helped teachers in engaging in meaningful instruction about African American experiences and has become a medium for legitimizing African American students' real life experiences in the official curriculum.
