Abstract | Because the Current Population Survey changed its educational attainment questions in 1992, this paper presents a method for adjusting earnings at different educational levels to make pre- and post-1992 data comparable. The adjustments reduce the estimated growth in college/high school earnings ratios between 1989 and 1993. (Author/SK) |
