| Abstract | In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of emotional intelligence (EI) in children's development. For those with a learning disability (LD), developing EI is particularly important, as it can have a positive impact not only on their academic performance but also on their social-emotional development, mental well-being, and physical health. By fostering EI, educators can create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that addresses the unique needs of these students. However, many teachers may face challenges in finding effective ways to foster EI in children with LD. A rapid review was undertaken to offer practical and actionable recommendations for classroom use. These suggestions encompass adapted language tasks and informed communication strategies that teachers can readily apply. By accessing this research, educators can gain valuable tools and guidance to better support the overall growth of their students. (As Provided). |
