Abstract	The modern era allows a reexamination of parental involvement in their children's education as a function of family size. Israel encourages childbirth. 'Children are joy' -- Indeed? Is this merely a sectorial-religious outlook? Is this outlook relevant in an era when the dominant values are the individual and excellence? This article presents a case study of whether parents in multi-child families in Israel, with four or more children, are less involved in their children's studies than parents in small families. Not every parent can be truly invested in his or her children's life due to a lack of time, lack of pedagogic skill, fatigue, work pressures, and more. The more children in the family, the more children-consumers share the parents' attention. This means that each child receives a smaller 'slice' of the 'pie' of capabilities and resources, and vice versa, in families with few children each child receives a larger 'slice of the pie'. Is this indeed true? The research findings showed a significant correlation between parental involvement and the size of the family unit, namely, the more children there are the less the parental involvement. The research findings illuminate a topic that occupies researchers from different disciplines, as it has economic, social, and ethical, educational, and global implications. (As Provided).
