| Abstract | 'Transmitting cinema: Some proposals for our time' was a conference that took place at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona on 13-14 July 2017, as part of the international European film education programme Moving Cinema. This report summarizes and reflects upon some of the discussions that took place at the conference -- exploring some of the most resonant questions facing film education practitioners and cultural partners in diverse contexts across Europe -- before going on to make a timely series of proposals for European film education in 2018. (As Provided). |
