Abstract | Considers some pitfalls of major black ideological thrusts in order to understand better the need to arrive at a new synthesis, focuses on the role of Womans' Liberation, and suggests that many "instant" black Marxists are products of the process of conversion, although the convert personality is nowhere more prevalent than among black nationalists.
