Abstract	Neil Humphrey's intention in writing "Are the Kids Alright? Examining the Intersection between Education and Mental Health" (EJ1247696) was to provoke discussion and debate in relation to six key questions that are central to the intersection between education and mental health. Humphrey received six responses to his article in this issue, and herein offers a final commentary to close out this issue of "The Psychology of Education Review" ("PER"). In this article, he highlights and responds to several key questions: (1) What do we mean when we talk about mental health? (2) Are mental health difficulties among children and young people increasing? Is their wellbeing decreasing? (3) Is there a crisis in child and adolescent mental health? (4) Why have schools become a central focus in this area? (5) Is evidence-based practice the answer? and (6) Is this just the 'child panic' for a new generation? (ERIC).
