AbstractThis article features eight AAFCS-accredited academic units in higher education that illustrate how the Family and Consumer Sciences Body of Knowledge (FCS-BOK) can be integrated into program curricula and educational procedures or structures. Contributors represent the following educational institutions (in alphabetical order): (1) California State University--Long Beach (Wendy Reiboldt and M. Sue Stanley); (2) Carson-Newman University (Kitty R. Coffey and Heather M. Whaley); (3) Illinois State University (Ani Yazedjian); (4) Louisiana Tech University (Amy M. Yates); (5) Southeastern Louisiana University (Holly Kihm); (6) Southern University at New Orleans (Pamela E. Wanga); (7) Stephen F. Austin State University (Lynda Martin and Mary Olle); and (8) Tennessee Technological University (Melinda Anderson). [This article is included in the 2016 Edition of the AAFCS Family & Consumer Sciences Compendium Series. The title is "Volume 1: Body of Knowledge, 2016 Edition".] (ERIC).
