Abstract | Leaders must be agile decision makers, engage in critical self-reflection, integrate reflection with action, and collaborate with those who are diverse in considerable ways to be successful in a multifaceted global environment. This quantitative study examines relationships between agile leadership factors and curriculum reform in higher education in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. This study explores the evolution of agile leadership factors within the organizational context since 2005 using a leadership density inventory instrument (LDI). Based on the data collected and analyzed, Cronbach's alpha was between 0.44 and 0.45. The agile leadership factors of technology adaptation (TA), decision-making (DM), teamwork (TW), empowerment (EMP), and faculty collaboration (FC) influenced curriculum reform. A relationship with curriculum reform was determined to exist. Finally, the study identified possible influencers and drew conclusions that all six constructs had a Cronbach's alpha of at least 0.888, indicating optimal reliability. The study results also indicated that the correlation was significant at the 0.01 level and a statistically significant relationship existed between the agile leadership factors (TA, DM, TW, EMP, and FC) and curriculum reform.
