Abstract	Designed to assist educators in developing or revising school/library copyright policy, this packet provides the following materials: (1) a viewer's guide for the film "Copyright Law: What Every School, College, and Public Library Should Know"; (2) a statement of the primary missions of the Association for Information Media and Equipment (AIME); (3) suggestions for the development of a school copyright policy; (4) special AIME reports (i.e., "Frequently Asked Copyright Questions,""Guidelines for Off-Air Recording of Broadcast Programming for Educational Purposes,""Archival Copying and the Law," and "Considering Copyright...The Nursing Home Exemption"); (5) additional sources for copyright information; (6) the addresses of television and cable networks to be used for requesting permission for off-air taping; (7) profiles of recent copyright violation cases; (8) an AIME press release detailing its pursuit of copyright violations; (9) news clippings of copyright violations articles; (10) two additional AIME reports ("AIME Settles Copyright Infringement Case," and "The BOCES Litigation"); (11) Heartland Educational Agency 11 (Johnston, Iowa) Media Center's copyright guidelines, "Copyright Condensed;" (12) the Los Angeles Unified School District's videotape and film use guidelines; and (13) the copyright policies of three school districts.
