Abstract	This document--intended for secondary school and college students--contains technology education instructional units on engines and power, energy conversion, energy futures, energy sources, communication and society, energy and power in communication, communication systems, microelectronics in communication, transportation in society, energy and power in transportation, transportation systems, electric and hybrid vehicles, production and society, energy and power in production, production systems, and robotics and production. Each unit typically includes a list of what students should be able to do after reading it, narrative information, line illustrations, a self-quiz with answers, a list of suggested activities, and a resource list for further study.
