Abstract	This is a comprehensive guide to developing a school-based K-12 drug prevention program. It is comprised of three booklets: (1) Policy--how to construct and implement a workable school drug policy; (2) Curriculum--complete and age-appropriate learning activities for students containing essential drug information and information on developing a school-wide K-12 curriculum; and (3) Community Consensus--outlines specific techniques for all members of a community to reinforce the drug-free message. A film is also available featuring descriptions of how the goal of a drug-free school can be achieved. These materials were developed from an 18-month national research project by the American Council for Drug Education. (JD)
