Abstract | This self-instructional package designed for art students in Grades 5 and 6 enables students to decide which set of lines in a group of lines are parallel, to show the vanishing points of several boxes by extending parallel lines, and to increase their desire to draw objects in perspective. Total time involved for the student is approximately thirty minutes to work through the package and 15 minutes for the posttest. The package contains graphic aids to help students examine horizon and eye level perspectives in relation to vanishing points. An answer sheet is also provided. (Author/KC) |
