This 540-hour intermediate course includes advanced troubleshooting techniques on outboard marine engines, inboard-outboard marine engines, inboard marine engines, boat rigging, boat trailer wiring and rigging, and refinishing and repair. The coursework includes basic theory and practical experience on actual engines and boats. Titles of the terminal performance objectives sections are Orientation, Engines, Electrical System, Ignition, Carburetion, Cooling, Service Fundamentals, Parts Inventory, Shop Management, and S.I.E.
