| Abstract | This series of booklets is designed for use by students of ninth grade general mathematics. The units are the result of experimental work done by the General Mathematics Writing Project of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. The series treats a variety of topics which are suitable for use with general mathematics students. Each unit is self-contained. The titles of units 1-5 are as follows: Unit 1: Formulas, Graphs, and Patterns; Unit 2: Properties of Operations with Numbers; Unit 3: Mathematical Sentences; Unit 4: Geometry; Unit 5: Arrangements and Selections.
