| Abstract | The health crisis that hit Switzerland in March 2020 led to the closure of schools for almost three months. Teachers had to come up with new teaching methods to meet a triple challenge: semi-confinement, distance learning and the use of digital technology. In this article, we reflect on the creation of short video clips in the context of distance teaching in history classes in a college in the canton of Vaud. We explore the observed qualities and shortcomings of this teaching material in comparison and in relation to videoconferencing courses and the maintenance of a website. We thus draw up an initial assessment of this digital experience. |
