(Autor). While the use of rhythm and music is stil alive in Psychomotricity in Switzerland, this tradition has gone lost in Germany. Moreover, this cultural deficite has hardly been reflected in the discourse of Motology as the academic partner discipline of Psychomotricity in Germany. However, it seems easy to revitalize this tradition in contemporary and critical way via the practical use of pure rhythm and voice. Building on a brief historical orientation and a highlighting of the neurological and physiological background, this article presents components that may help to structure practical sessions in psychomotricity.
