Abstract	The present article provides an overview of an integration project for third country medical doctors (outside the EU/EEA) who seek asylum in Sweden. It describes the origin and needs of the participants, for example the enrolement requirements, the design of the program, and the challenges and obstacles encountered on an administrative and societal level. To sum up, an overview of successes and failures on the level of the participants and the administration are layed in the conclusion. (DIPF/Orig.).
