"In the context of evolving requirements for skilled workers new challenges in the field of production engineering arise for the didactic work and the interaction of learning venues in industrial companies. Against the backdrop of digital transformation real complex production processes are becoming currently more important as a basis for the learning processes of apprentices in productional occupations. For this reason, the so far usual separation of learning in the training workshop and in the various special and production departments is unrewarding. However, the findings and explanatory models for in-company and vocational learning within the scope of the industrial-technical initial vocational education and training are very limited. The study of Schmitz/Frenz (2016) cited in the article provides first insights into the learning motivation of apprentices. Above, the study provides a view in effectively motivational learning conditions in the in-company training workshop and in the special departments. These insights are coming from trainees of the occupation of industrial mechanics and mechatronics technicians. The empirical findings refer to the strengths and weaknesses of the learning venues. On the basis of the findings concepts will be presented, which use their specific strengths through the interaction of the two learning venues. This concept aims to prepare trainees for future requirements in productional and technical occupations." (authors' abstract; BIBB-Doku). |
