| Abstract | The paper contains the findings of the studies on the substantiation of organizational educational conditions required for the implementation of the new GTO (Ready for Labour and Defence) complex in the system of physical education of the Russian people. The main organizational educational conditions stipulated by the authors are increasing level of professional preparedness of experts in the field of physical culture in the issues of introducing the new GTO complex into the system of physical education ot the population; development of the requirements and standards of the new GTO complex with regard to the scientific database on the physical condition of people of different age groups. The respondents pay much attention to development of plans, programs and regulatory documents, controlling the involvement of various public organizations in the activities for the implementatlon of the new GTO complex; involving to the process of developing the new requirements and standards of the new GTO complex of scientists, sports psychologists and teachers. According to most respondents, it is important to implement a democratic approach when choosing means, methods and forms of training of the general public to meet the requirements and standards of the new GTO complex, as well as organization of the monitoring of the level of physical fitness of students of the country, to determine readiness to work and to defend the motherland. When introducing the new GTO complex into the system of physical education of the Russian people, special attention should be given to the creation of material and technical base to provide the scientific and methodological support of this process. The study suggests that the identified organizational educational conditions contribute to more purposeful organlzation of the process of introducing the new GTO complex into the system of physical education of the Russian population.
