Abstract | The psychoemotional state (wellbeing, activity, moods) of first-year students when attending physical education classes during the session was proved to be good. The results of the WAM questionnaire according to the wellbeing, activity and mood scales in all phases of measurement before and after classes (during the first week of classes, at the end of September, at the end of October and at the end of November) exceed 4 points. At the same time, a statistically significant increase (p (= 0.05) by 1 and 1.1 points in terms of wellbeing and activity at the end of semester was noted respectively. After physical education classes in all phases of measurement mood improved significantly (p (= 0.05) by 0,4-0,5-0,6-1,1 points (during the first week of classes at the end of September, at the end of October, at the end of November, respectively). Regarding the subjective assessment first-year students describe their mood after physical education classes as excellent and good on the five-grade scale (5 and 4 points respectively), only 24% (108/467) mentioned fatigue on the above average level and 2% (9/467) - performance decrement.
