Abstract | The task to organise diversity in religious education accrues from a commitment to a non-selective and non-segregating general education. Core elements of a general inclusive religious didactics are discussed in this article. Georg Feuser's key idea that "everybody cooperates in the shared subject" is substantiated in a form of didactics that promotes individualisation, inner differentiation, as well as cooperation in class. As joint teaching should be oriented on four substantial forms of access and appropriation, these are also developed. In the end the question which facets religious education that is denominationally cooperative and inclusive should have is treated. Only religious education that is denominationally introversive and cooperative, and interreligiously extroversive is in accordance with the basic principles of inclusive learning. The aim of inclusive religious education is to practise cooperation in the view of diversity. How respect towards otherness and different beliefs can be reached in the lessons is treated in the last part of this article, where ideas for teaching and possibilities for differentiation in church and ecumenism in grades 3-4 and 5-9 are presented. |
