A shift of perspective as well as of location are very important when developing problem solving competency and when consolidating knowledge and skills. The article describes a possibility for such a shift: Students have to transfer a figure which consists of parts of graphs onto the schoolyard. In doing so they discover and solve various problems which result from the unusual way of representation. |
