Abstract | Children as victims of the WW II since some years are re-discovered and researched by engaged therapists discovering a new wave of such patients of old-age in their practice. In his report the author reflects his personal experience of growing up fatherless. In his mental structure this loss during his life was never satisfied or vanished. The decision to close this traumatic white spot motivated the author for a long-lasting search in archives looking out for any trace in documents or by oral witness. Discovering relicts of his father in Military- and Soviet files the author did not give up until he discovered the area of the assumed fathers grave near Stalingrad. The author did not stop with such a result: He reflects his individual traumatic experience and the arguments and on the background of recent literature in continuation of the self-experience of thousands of fatherless children. Such pressures on childhood and life-long views are still underestimated. Such a real-virtual influence on such a victim is part of the postwar education period affecting the course of many children socialization. (DIPF/Orig.). |
