Abstract	The book presents four case studies on cooperation between technical and vocational education institutions and the world of work. These studies are the result of an international project under the UNESCO. They have been carried out in Hungary, Romania, the Russian Federation and Sweden. The studies from Hungary, Romania and Sweden focus on policies and legislation in technical and vocational education to enhance cooperation with the world of work. The study from the Russian Federation concentrates on various aspects of cooperation on the implementation of such policies at the level of the training institution and the individual enterprise.
