Abstract | "The EUROTECNET Programme was set up to 'promote innovation in the fields of basic and also continuing vocational training with a view to taking account of the current and future technological changes and their impact on employment, work and necessary qualifications and skills'. ... The aim of this compendium is to provide a description of: 1. the main features of the projects; 2. the reasons which have motivated the development of such a project; 3. the impact of the project in qualitative and quantitative terms, both inside and outside their organisation; 4. the innovative aspects in relation with the process/ methodology, and with the concept of the project; 5. the way(s) by which the results could be transferred or potential users of the results; 6. the way(s) by which the results could contribute to the development of projects und the new Community Programmes (e.g. Leonardo da Vinci) or initiatives (e.g. Adapt, Now III, Horizon II, Youth Start). The descriptions found in this Compendium have been provided by the project leaders themselves, and give a good picture of how they saw their projects progress in the EUROTECNET Programme. This Compendium is complementary to the 'Compendium of Projects' published in 1993 which provided a description of projects while many were still at an early stage in their development. It should also be read in conjunction with the 'Directory of products/Results of the EUROTECNET Network published at the same time." (DIPF/text taken from the original) |
