Abstract | In this paper we analyse the changes that are emerging in the history teachers' education program in Poland. One of the main objectives of the reform is to prepare teachers for working in the new democratic society. Two different approaches can be identified: one based on preparation of the teachers-didacticians with the specialization in history, and the second as preparation of a historian-teacher being able to teach in schools. Finally, we present the changes postulated and implemented into the history teachers' program. (DIPF/orig.) |
