Abstract | In diesem Bilanzierungsbeitrag geht es um Ergebnisse und Desiderate der berufspädagogisch-historischen Forschung. Dabei werden zunächst die Ausgangslage und der Nutzen der Historischen Berufsbildungsforschung aufgezeigt. Im Anschluss daran erfolgt ein Überblick über Forschungsfelder und Forschungsschwerpunkte der berufspädagogischen Historiographie. Sodann stehen wesentliche Gegenstands- bzw. Themenbereiche und methodische Orientierungen der berufspädagogisch-historischen Forschung seit den 1980er-Jahren im Mittelpunkt. Der folgende Abschnitt geht auf wichtige Desiderata ein und schließlich erfolgt ein kurzes Fazit mit aktuellem Bezug. (Verlag). This paper takes stock of the results and desiderata of research on the history of vocational education and training. After an introduction the following section points out the initial position of vocational education research in a historical perspective. After some remarks on important fields of research, the next section concentrates on the major approach of research on history of vocational education and training. Special attention is given to various methods and to the contemporary state of historical study. The next section explores some desiderata of research on the history of vocational education and training and finally some conclusions are drawn with regard to the reform of the 1969 Vocational Training Act.
