Abstract | Two studies assessed variables related to social determinants of alcohol consumption. Moderate- and heavy-drinking male undergraduates were exposed to various social status conditions crossed with light versus heavy consumption. Results provided support for the existence of modeling effect that can be disrupted by lack of rapport between drinking partners. (NRB) |
