| Abstract | This book rates 60 selected Web sites that focus on three core K-12 content areas--math, reading, and language arts. The introduction summarizes the quality criteria for the site ratings and selection, lists recommended software and plug-ins for viewing Web sites, provides tips on Internet navigation, and offers guidelines for Internet safety. The sites are then organized in three chapters corresponding to the content areas. The entry for each site includes recommended grade levels, the rating (using a scale of from two to five stars), the site's URL (Uniform Resource Locator), and a brief annotation. (MES) |
