Abstract | Presented is the 1972-73 Alaskan Native School enrollment in the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) schools, State public schools, and private schools. Charts are used to summarize the enrollment by school, educational level, and ethnic group. The State public schools have the largest number of Alaskan Native students, with a total of 15,855, with 5,140 in elementary and 715 in high school. The private school total is 422--with 91 elementary and 331 high school students. Information on high school graduates is also given. (FF) |
