| Abstract | This newsletter, published monthly from September through May, keeps teachers informed about new learning resources in consumer education, as well as the latest projects and developments in the field. This issue contains a lead article on development of valuing skills in consumer economics. The major portion of the newsletter consists of three learning activities on The Big-name Credit Cards and How They Compare, How To Pay Those College Bills, and Buying Beef by the Side. A guide to help teachers introduce each topic, sample questions to be used to facilitate classroom discussion, and exercises for review are provided for each activity. Transparency materials to be used with the first two activities are also provided. Information and ideas from readers are welcomed.
