Abstract	It is important to consider the computer as an information provider when used offline to consult different sources of data or online when using Internet. One of the advantages of computer assisted learning is that usage of computers is preferred by pupils, who have the possibility of involving actively in their learning process; in the same time usage of computers by the pupils leads to a real attendance in the educational process. In order to monitor the teaching staff 's initiatives regarding the use of the computer during teaching lessons, we have taken into account their willingness to work with applications especially designed for and we even questioned parents of first and second graders about their view on the use of the computer as a teaching tool. The outcome of the survey is more than satisfying for both sides since computer assisted learning gains more ground every day in the field of education by applying the newest technologies and techniques of communication.(Orig.).
