| Abstract | The study presented here "has been conducted to prepare a joint bilateral cooperation project of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Kenya and the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ).... The study serves primarily to increase the knowledge of the actual situation in terms of the teaching and learning of the practical subjects, to draw up appropriate solutions for actions and activities, and to give important indications for planning and monitoring project work." "Practical subjects" in Kenya are: home science, agriculture and arts and crafts. The aim of the project was to improve the teaching of these subjects. The paper in part one analyses the present situation of teaching practical subjects and in part two develops a concept of the intended project. (DIPF/Bi.). |
