| Abstract | Text of the final report of the Task Force with the following contents: 1) A section setting forth an historical context for issues having to do with ethnic minority group members' roles and participation in AERA and some of the issues of epistemology that are sometimes confused with or that confound issues concerning ethnic group identity. 2) The changing character of AERA as an organization and the changing conceptual, demographic, social and political context in which the association must function. 3) An inventory of the concerns and issues relative to minority group members' roles and participation in AERA that have surfaced in the course of the task force's investigation. 4) Task Force recommendations.
